The article first discusses how Nicole grew up in the Nob Hill scene and is now the new owner of Yanni's and is looking to make some great changes to the restaurant. We here at Appetizing Albuquerque love the growth and advancement of the Albuquerque food scene. Changes in ownership are a great way to add a new spin to an established business and we are glad to see Yanni's continue as an Albuquerque staple and continue in the Albuquerque food scene.

Nicole states how the Nob Hill area has gone from a sort of kid friendly atmosphere to becoming more of a nightlife area and is quickly becoming the go to place for Albuquerque foodies. We agree, Nob Hill is a great scene to try great food, both authentic New Mexican and from other cultures, like Yanni's Mediterranean, Greek food. The scene is quickly evolving with many new restaurants and breweries opening every year.

Nicole states that the secret to the success of Yanni's in tough times is that they have always been consistent with their quality. They have also always prioritized their employees and their loyal clientele. If there is any place that can not only tell you the secrets to success but also show you them, it is the 25 year running Yanni's business. We agree, not only does a restaurant need great tasting food, but also an environment that leads to happy service staff and a service that keeps people coming back for more.

Lastly, Nicole discusses the new changes coming to Yanni's in the near future. She mentions a new menu coming as part of Yanni's 25th anniversary. She mentioned how all of the favorites were kept but there is more of a focus on higher quality products such as sustainable sourced seafood, organic meats, and local produce. We at Appetizing Albuquerque truly value businesses that not only taste great but also care about the quality of their food. High quality products lead to high quality food in terms of taste and feel. She mentions other changes to menu specific items and to the look of Yanni's.

In conclusion, we really enjoyed this article by the Albuquerque Journal. It shows just how much the Albuquerque food scene has grown and that things are ever changing in the culinary aspect of the city. We are glad that Yanni's is continuing strong and we hope that it continues on with its authentic Greek food. We hope you guys enjoyed our analysis of the article and give it a read. If you are a fan of Yanni's or just a fan of Albuquerque cuisine in general, this article gives good insights on what it is that makes a business succeed in Albuquerque.
