We know most of our favorite spots consist of New Mexico’s authentic food but today we decided to switch it up! In today’s blog we will be featuring our friend’s blog Spreadin’ The Sauce. This blog consists of the best local pizza spots in Albuquerque. I mean who doesn’t enjoy pizza as much as sopapillas and enchiladas.
Slice Parlor
Spreadin’ The Sauce has done a few blogs on different pizza locations across Albuquerque. Their first blog was on Slice Parlor. Slice Parlor serves New York City inspired oven-baked pizzas. They make their dough and and tomato sauce from scratch. The New York style pizza does well here in New Mexico because there isn’t very many options for oven-baked pizza here. They offer free Wi-fi and often have live music. Read more about them in the blog, Spreadin’ the Sauce tells you everything you need to know about the Slice Parlor.
Il Vicino
Spreadin’ The Sauce also wrote about Il Vicino. Il Vicino has won the hearts of New Mexico natives because of its delicious pizza. They offer a wide variety of other foods aside from their pizza, with some of the best wine to accompany their delicious dishes. Il Vicino is great if things like great quality and price are things that matter to you.. Read more about it on Spreadin’ The Sauce’s blog!
Pizza in New Mexico
Pizza isn’t considered a specialty food for New Mexico, but there are locations in Albuquerque that give pizza the authentic New Mexican feel that we all love. What happens when you mix New Mexico with pizza... you get the delicious combination that is Dions. Dions gives us a feel of New Mexico by giving us the option to add delicious green chili on their pizza. Green chili is such a huge part of New Mexico that Dions has also made green chili ranch that was introduced in 2017.
